It is likely Trump feels less beholden to MAGA themselves because he had more mainstream appeal, even winning the popular vote in 2024 due to macro-economic variables being so against Biden & Democrats in 2024.
Joe Rogan then went on to say that the Iran War can only be serving Israel's interests. His podcast guest host appeared to defend the move, saying that the U.S. felt it needed to flip the negotiating table, despite the fact that there was no evidence the other side would improve, and a credible current threat in its absence.
The Iran war is the most unpopular war since WWII according to polling, making this very different from even the Iraq War, which had over 70% support from the American people.
Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump in the 2024 election, reaching a peak after a right-wing turn since his move to Texas and signing with Spotify.
