YouTube Description
as posted by the channelKrystal Ball of Breaking Points went after Tucker Carlson for trying to absolve himself of the responsibility of having supported Trump by putting all the blame on the war in Iran on Israel. She sent out the following tweet: "Tucker’s efforts to pin sole blame for the Iran war catastrophe on Israel is such a transparent ruse to wash the blood off the hands of the man he worked 3 times to put in office and by proxy avoid culpability for his own role in this disaster."
It has been a common theme that many podcasters who buoyed Trump's chances in 2024 refuse to mention his name in any critiques, instead going after his proxies: Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, etc. It's never that Trump was wrong or did something bad, rather he just had someone corrupt in his ear, got tricked, or was given bad information.
Many of Tucker's fans lashed out at Krystal. One stated "Trump was derailed by listening too much to Israeli interests and interested parties. That's obvious to everybody. Why blame Tucker for connecting the dots and noticing the pattern?" Another stated: "Why are you attacking Tucker here? Stop trying to make this partisan. “Trump” and “Biden” don’t run the country, and anyone acting like they do works for the machine."
Many others followed. It is disappointing to see that accountability is not being distributed to Trump here, as it means that we'll continue to going in the same ring around the rosie where he does something awful and then gets no blame for it because it was wrong information or someone tricked him, and he'll continue over and over again.
