as posted by the channelAfter two years of genocidal bombing and blockade, Israel is invading, depopulating, and destroying what remains of Gaza City. Palestinians there who have somehow survived the last two years have been warned to evacuate, though there is nowhere safe in the Gaza Strip for them to go. Award-winning filmmaker and TRNN journalist sent us this footage she captured on Sunday, Sept. 14, near the ruins of Al-Ru'ya Tower and Mashtaha Tower in Western Gaza City.
"Mashtaha Tower has been standing for decades and was home to dozens of families," Amer reports. "Ru'ya Commercial Tower was recently built, approximately four years ago, and housed offices, including the Palestinian Human Rights Office and other media offices, as well as residential apartments. It is located near the university complex. For nearly a week, the Israeli army has been violently targeting residential towers in the city, considered the most vital area in the Gaza Strip. This successive bombing has altered the city's landscape, increased the amount of rubble, damaged hundreds of surrounding tents, and forced residents to flee south."
