They claim to be fed up with decades of "liberals" attacking the values of "middle America," so they now just want to "trigger" as many liberals as possible. As I've repeatedly said over the last few years, the Republican party stands for absolutely nothing. They're a party that hasn't had a new idea in over 40 years now. So, so how do they keep getting elected? Well, as I've also said, it's the culture Wars, but now they've taken the culture Wars to a new extreme Politico recently put out a actually really a well-written article explaining that today's Republican party stands for one thing. And one thing only, and that is owning the libs. They no longer do things because of policy. They're not out there actively trying to really accomplish anything other than to off liberals, to off Democrats and progressives and anyone left of center. And we've actually seen this as the article points out, uh, to a heightened degree over the last few weeks alone, Marjorie Taylor green, putting the video up of her, putting that sign outside her office.

There's only two genders. And then doing her little Ted Cruz with his doctor Seuss book giveaway, signing the books because Oh, it's canceled culture. The, the, these people think they're owning the libs and political actually dives a little bit deeper into that, right? Because sure. It's one thing we all know that all they're trying to own the libs, but Politico again, did a great job actually explaining why it is. They do this. And at the heart of it is this Republicans believe that for the last couple decades, there has been an assault on middle America's values by the left.

And what that really means is that Republicans are worried that people in middle America don't want to move forward as a country. They don't want any progress with regards to human rights and social equality. See that's what Politico didn't do. They didn't go ahead and just call it out with Republicans saying we think middle America's pretty homophobic and racist. So, uh, we just want to own the libs to show middle America we're with them, right? Because that's what this is. It's transphobia, it's homophobia, it's racism, it's xenophobia. It's all of those phobias and hatreds and dislikes folded into one. And Republicans think that that is what middle America actually believes actually wants. So they go on these stupid tirades about there's only two genders. They go on these stupid tirades about marriages between a man and a woman and anything different is immoral and gay people shouldn't be allowed to adopt children. It's more culture war crap. That means nothing to actual voters,

They get to own the libs in the process because it, it triggers them when you don't use somebody's preferred pronouns. They think who, who we got you? Yes, I am the master of all things political because I referred to he is a she or she is a he and ha now I win.

The belief of the Republican party, by the way, this is how they feel. They actually think that by doing these stupid idiotic childish things that they've won the day and they fall back on these idiotic issues because they have nothing else of substance that they can talk about.
