Tucker Carlson Is FURIOUS That Journalists Are Investigating His NSA Spying Claims

Fox News host Tucker Carlson went on a tirade on Thursday evening after he learned that journalists were trying to verify his claims that the NSA is spying on him. Carlson's rage was specifically directed at one journalist - Ken Klippenstein from The Intercept - who FOIA'd his FOIA to find out what was going on. For some reason this has pissed Tucker off, and he went as far as to try to paint Klippenstein as a deep-state loving, NSA-friendly plant. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Tucker Carlson is furious right now that there are journalists in this country who have the audacity to go out there and try to see if he's lying about the NSA spying on him. What's happened is that you have at least two different outfits, uh, both Buzzfeed and Ken Klippenstein with the intercept who actually foisted

Tucker Carlson's foyer. They Wanted to know exactly what he wanted to know what he was looking for. And, you know, the timeframes, which according to what they've gotten back, Tucker's foil actually goes all the way back to, I believe January of 20, 19, long before Joe Biden came into the white

House, which kind of already undercuts their claim, that Biden is spying on them in order to cancel their program. So anyway, there's that, but Tucker Carlson on Thursday evening basically went into this tirade against just Ken Klippenstein. Now we have talked about Ken Klippenstein, uh, here on this, uh, program in the past because he's a phenomenal investigative journalist. He is an absolutely wonderful Twitter troll, uh, getting conservatives to say, or retweet some of the dumbest, uh, you know, things possible because they don't bother to do any research. So Ken's a really great guy. And, uh, he has a wonderful foil lawyer, a woman by the name of, uh, Beth Borden, who does phenomenal work with Ken as well. And all they're trying to do is find out what the hell is going on. They're not trying to make Tucker look stupid. Ken's not trying to get him on something.

Ken was actually one of the people who thought there could be validity to Tucker Carlson's claims kind of like we've discussed here skeptical because it's Tucker, but given the history of spying on journalists here in the United States, totally plausible, but Tucker had a meltdown. So Tucker goes after Ken talking about the fact that you worked for the intercept, it's a media outlet funded by a billionaire. Oh, really guy from Fox news. Now you suddenly don't like media outlets funded by billionaires. Oh Lord. I hope you don't have any mirrors there because you might be horrified by what staring back at you. And that would be a propaganda stooge who works at a media outlet funded by a billionaire. So yeah, swing and a miss on that one talker, he then tried to paint Klippenstein as some kind of NSA, CIA stooge, which if you've ever read anything by Klippenstein, you know, that's an absolutely idiotic comment to make, but what talker is doing right now, as he's running scared and, and that kind of lends a little more credence to the theory that this whole thing is made up,

Tucker Carlson Would not be freaking out. If journalists were like, oh crap, we need to, we need to get all this info. Let's back, tuck her up. He would, he would be applauding them. But instead when they do this and say, well, let's get this information too. He's like, oh no, you jackasses. You can't do this. Okay. You're hiding something. Something doesn't smell right about this. It actually smells even worse than it did before. And I think at this point I'm willing to 100% say, I don't believe Tucker Carlson at all. He wouldn't be reacting this way. If he, he thought the NSA was actually spying on him, he's worried that these really great journalists are going to find out information, send it to them, public and reveal that he's lying.
