3:33Now PlayingDonald Trump has brought in tens of millions of dollars this year from his supporters, and a lot of that money was forked over with donors believing that they were funding his election challenges. That never happened. Reports show that Trump hasn't spent a dime of this money fighting the results of the 2020 election, proving once again that he just can't stop this grift. And at this point, why should he? If people are dumb enough to fall for it then they should suffer the consequences. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Former president Donald Trump between his political action committees is currently sitting on an estimated $100 million. Now I don't care who you are, which party you're with, that is a hell of a haul for only being out of office for six months. Now we do, of course know, as I've mentioned in previous videos that some of that about 23 million I think, was actually, it wasn't raised this year. It was actually transferred over from last year, but still a hundred million dollars. Here's the thing though. He raised a lot of this money from the gullible rubes out here throughout the country, promising them I'm going to challenge the election results. I'm going to file lawsuits. I'm going to fund election audits, ballot audits across this country, but I can't do that on my own, folks. I'm just a poor, humble billionaire. You got to send me the money to do this and his idiotic followers and yes, they're idiots, were more than happy to get online, put in their credit card numbers and send that money to his two PACs. You have the Make America Great Again PAC and the Save America PAC. Oh, and of course the Save America joint fundraising committee, a hundred million dollars between the three of them.
And as filings show, not one penny, not one penny, was spent on challenging elections here in the United States. None of it was spent on ballot audits. None of it was spent on lawsuits. All of it is still just sitting in those accounts, of course, with the exception of the hundreds of thousands of dollars that he has used to pay his own businesses from these accounts. But honestly, at this point, screw him, let it happen, right? If you want to continue getting suckered into giving money to the greatest con man this country has ever known, go for it. Be my guest, empty your frigging bank account, giving money to this charlatan. I don't even care anymore. I honest to God truly do not care anymore if these people send themselves to bankruptcy because they're too stupid to realize that they're being conned by this man. And for the record, the reason he's not funding these election challenges or ballot audits is because he knows it's a fool's errand. He knows it's a waste of money. If he thought for a second he could spend 10, 20, even a hundred million dollars and get back in that oval office.
He would do it in a heartbeat folks, because then he would make even more money. But he's not doing it because he knows it's not going to work. You're being suckered in once again. But if this story shows anything other than, of course, the fact that these people are gullible rubes, it shows us that we need to tighten our campaign finance laws here in the United States, tighter than they've ever been. And I know that in itself is a fool's errand, even just to say it because we know that's not ever going to happen. But Trump is actually raising this money on false pretenses. Not all of it, but sure some of it, a good chunk of it is being raised on false pretenses and these people keep falling for it. And there's nothing we can do to hold them accountable because that's the way our campaign finance laws work. But again, I've run out of sympathy. Empty your bank accounts, empty your piggy banks, send him a check in the mail if you want to at this point.
