Donald Trump issued another one of his idiotic "statements" from his bunker this past weekend, this time demanding that Joe Biden "resign in disgrace" from the presidency for so many reasons. The twice-impeached former President listed the failures in handling COVID, the situation in Afghanistan, and several other factors that existed long before Biden ever even came into office. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

I know, I know, I know I made a pledge that I was not going to talk about these idiotic releases that Donald Trump puts out, but he put out one over the weekend that I absolutely cannot ignore. Over the weekend, Donald Trump puts out one of his little ridiculous statements calling for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace because of what's happening in Afghanistan and of course, because of so many other things that Trump thinks, you know, are all Biden's fault. Here it is. It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen in Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence and our crippled economy. It shouldn't be a big deal because he wasn't elected legitimately in the first place. See, I told you, he's always going to take that shot. He's always going to go back to plus the election was stolen, every time he gets the opportunity. So let's dissect this one at a time.
Biden's going to get blamed for everything that happens in Afghanistan, whether you think that's fair or not, it's going to happen. Republicans have already created, crafted, excuse me, that narrative. And that is going to play out from now until the midterms possibly all the way into the 2024 elections. This is Biden failure. It's actually the failure of Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden, Bush being the number one culprit. But let's be honest. Obama's not innocent here and Biden was a part of that administration. So I mean, honestly, by this point, Biden has been involved with Afghanistan longer than any other president has because he had eight years as vice president. Now, you know, eight months, I guess, as a president, seven months. So yeah, he's going to get blamed for it. He made the right decision pulling the US troops out. Let's be clear. This would have happened if troops had been pulled out under Trump, if they'd been pulled out under Obama, even if Bush had done it, what's happening today would have happened at that point too. But Biden's going to get blamed for it. On the COVID front.
I don't blame Joe Biden for that at all. Like, there is no way, no way in hell to try to shape the COVID surge as somehow Joe Biden's problem. No, absolutely not. That is an absolute Republican problem. I mean, reports are starting to surface saying that Republicans are actually refusing to wear masks, refusing to get vaccinated out of spite for Joe Biden. So no that ain't his fault. That's Republicans being Republicans. The border catastrophe they tell us, oh yeah, we do have record numbers of people coming back. You know what we also have? Record numbers of people being sent back. We still have people locked in cages along the Southern border. There are multiple lawsuits right now, challenging the cruelty that they're experiencing in those migrant detention centers being run by the Biden administration. This is no different than what it was under Donald Trump and Republicans love to talk, oh, border patrol just seized all these drugs. You see how bad Biden is. They seized the drugs. They're deporting all these people. So even if there are these waves of migrants, don't worry, xenophobes, Biden's sending them back.
And the other thing, the crippled economy, on paper, the economy is doing great. We just added almost a million jobs last month.
