Florida Republicans Pressured Researchers To Cover Up COVID Data For The State

A damning new report has revealed that university researchers in Florida were pressured from "the big above" to cover up and hide their data about COVID cases in the state. They make it clear that this was coming from the Republican-controlled government that has now overseen the deaths of more than 60,000 Floridians throughout the pandemic. A shocking new report came out this week, showing that according to the results of an independent investigatory body, researchers at the University of Florida here in the state of Florida were pressured by the Republican controlled state government to cover up and effectively censor the data that they had been compiling throughout the pandemic about how dangerous the coronavirus truly was. That's the story. These researchers told these investigators that we felt the pressure from above in what they called the big above, meaning governor DeSantis and his office, to cover up our own data. To not be forthright. They even said, we spend our lives perfecting our craft, becoming researchers doing this kind of work and then suddenly we're told we can't do it properly. And of course they were told they cannot criticize Ron DeSantis by the way. That's another big part of it. You're not allowed to criticize the governor. The governor who has overseen the deaths now of more than 61,000 Floridians to COVID-19. 61,000 Florida residents dead because of COVID-19 and the idiotic asinine response from Ron DeSantis.

Now this story is not shocking and that's probably the worst part of it. It really is not shocking because we've known this because we had the whistleblower with the state who was obviously fired because she said, listen, they're telling us to cover up the data. They're covering up the deaths. They're covering up everything to make it seem like things aren't as bad as they truly are. And then of course there was earlier this year when they revised the way they count the COVID deaths. And they did that by not counting the death on the day it was, you know, announced, but instead waiting until the final autopsy report or final coroners report, whatever it is, and then going back and putting that death, not on the day it was announced, but on the day it happened, which in many instances is two to three weeks after that date is passed. Which artificially makes it look like Florida deaths are not as bad when you look at the graft, oh, we only had 14 deaths today. How wonderful. But then you go back and look at it two weeks later and you see that that 14 became 200. But nobody does that. The state of Florida run by Ron DeSantis and these Republicans in office has been covering up the truth of this pandemic since the very beginning and at the very least, I believe this should be considered negligent homicide.

They knew their actions were getting people killed. They knew downplay, playing this and pretending it wasn't real and covering up the data would get people killed. Why can we not charge them with a crime? Do you understand that when a pharmaceutical company does the same thing, say they have a drug, right and this drug goes out there, doesn't kill most of the people that use it, but it kills 5% of them. It kills 2%, it kills 1% of them and they see that data, but they cover it up. Do you know what happens to that pharmaceutical company in a lawsuit? They get popped for billions of dollars. If this were a just country, they'd be charged with murder. So why the hell can't we do that with our government for essentially doing the same thing with COVID-19? That's the question I have. And so far, I haven't been able to get an answer on that, but I sure want one.
