In a statement on Monday evening, Donald Trump attacked Republican Arizona governor Doug Ducey, accusing Ducey of being a RINO because he didn't overturn Arizona's 2020 election results like Trump wanted him to do. Trump then said that the people of Arizona will never accept Ducey as their Senate candidate - which is probably a good thing since Ducey isn't even running for Senate! Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Donald Trump lashed out this week at the Republican governor of the state of Arizona, Doug Ducey, accusing Ducey of not doing enough to overturn Arizona's 2020 election results because even though we're 15 plus months past the election, Donald Trump will never let it go for the rest of his life. So in his statement, here's what Donald Trump had to say about Mr. Ducey. MAGA will never accept RINO governor Doug Ducey of Arizona running for the US Senate. So save your time, money and energy, Mitch. I'm, I'm assuming that, uh, he's referring to Mitch McConnell, who I guess he believes is making Doug Ducey run for Senate. Now here's what's interesting about this little attack here. Doug Ducey's not running for anything. Doug Ducey has been talked to by Republicans, begging him to run for Senate. That part's true. Uh, but he's not running for Senate.

He has made it clear that he doesn't want to run for Senate. And yet Donald Trump is attacking him here as a RINO that will never be accepted by the MAGA crowd. So don't even bother running for Senate. He's not bothering to run for Senate. But Donald Trump gets bored, folks. That's what we have to understand. The guy is sitting down there in Mar-a-Lago, he's playing golf as much as he can, but other than that, he's got nothing to do. You know, Melania is planning her little tea event that maybe for a charity that doesn't exist. The kids are all embroiled in scandals. They've got their own mess to deal with in Washington, DC. So he gets bored. So he writes out these idiotic statements still airing his grievances from 15 months ago, attacking people who, other than not overturning the election for him, have done everything he has ever wanted them to do.

But this is also another prime example of what's making Republicans across the country so nervous about Trump. He can't shut up, he can't stop talking and of course, he can't stop attacking Republicans and bringing up the 2020 election that was not stolen from him. That has been proven many times over. Donald Trump lost the state of Arizona three separate times. Once in the general, once in the recount and then once the audit. I mean, do, do you wanna lose it a fourth time? Because I'm sure the Republicans in the state would be more than happy to do another audit that's gonna lead to the same results. But if you keep attacking these Republicans who aren't even running for the offices that you say they're running for, and if you keep bringing up the fact that you didn't win the 2020 election, you're gonna come across as such a whiny loser, that nobody's gonna want to have anything to do with you. So I guess what I'm saying to Donald Trump is please keep it up because this is causing irreparable harm to the Republican party and I love every second of it.
