Donald Trump recently lashed out at Kellyanne Conway over the claims that she's made in her new memoir, at one point saying that she's a liar and telling her to go back to her "crazy" husband. In spite of this, Conway insists on defending her former boss, and claimed this week that he's actually a "great girl boss." He basically threw her in the dirt and she thanked him for it, which is about as pathetic as you can get. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Kellyanne Conway was given the option this week to formally rebuke Donald Trump's claims that not only is she a liar, but that also her husband is crazy. This was offered to her by the way, during an interview on CBS news on Tuesday, and rather than sticking up for her husband, rather than defending her own integrity, Kellyanne Conway decided to go the easier route and defend Donald Trump after he attacked her. Claimed that she was lying in her new book. She defended him. She didn't defend her book. Didn't defend her husband. She defended the man attacking her, saying that he is quote, a great girl boss and that he is very protective of her. Protective. Now, now that's not exactly the word I would use because again, Kellyanne, he was attacking the claims in your book. He was, he's calling you a liar. I mean, here, here's what he said. And this is of course, in response to Kellyanne Conway claiming in her book that she personally told Donald Trump he lost the 2020 election.
Trump said, if she had, I wouldn't have dealt with her any longer. She would've been wrong. Could go back to her crazy husband. So he's saying, you're lying. Again, calling your husband crazy and we all know the recent reports. You're not wearing your ring. He's not wearing your ring. You've admitted your marriage is kind of in shambles at the moment. But still you're married to the guy. You have kids with him. You live with him still, as far as we know, but you would rather defend the man calling you a liar, calling your husband crazy. That, that makes no sense to me. I mean, this is almost a symptom, right? I mean, don't you get that impression too? Like this, this isn't normal behavior. This really does fit into the pattern of somebody that is abusive relationship. I mean, that, that's the way I, I look at this. This is what I see when I see Kellyanne Conway's relationship with Donald Trump. You know, he is verbally assaulting her, essentially, calling her a liar, attacking her personal life.
And rather than sticking up for herself, sticking up for her new book, which I'm sure she wants to continue selling copies of, she's not even defending that. She's defending him. Again, that's a symptom, whether you want to admit it or not, Kellyanne. I think that is what we're looking at here. This man treats you like garbage. Every now and then, sure, he's nice to you. You know, he needs you at sometimes. But when you him off, when you go against him, all hell breaks loose and that is what we have seen with Donald Trump with you very recently. But you don't even have the conviction of character to, forget your husband for a moment, to even stand up for your own materials, your book, you wrote this book. And he, this most powerful man in the Republican party, which is the base for your book is saying that it's filled with lies. And your response is to say, well, he's very protective. He's a great girl boss. No, he's not. He's a bastard. But you would rather defend the bastard than defend your own work.
