Most Republicans Think Whites Experience As Much Discrimination As Black People

According to a new poll, 64% of Republicans believe that white people in America experience just as much discrimination as black people. Unfortunately, the poll didn't go as far to ask these Republicans to cite any specific examples, because that would have been hilarious to watch them try to find a single instance where white people are as oppressed as any other race. According to a new Yahoo news YouGov survey, a majority of Republicans in this country believe that white people face just as much discrimination as black people. 64% of Republicans either strongly agree or somewhat agree that white people are in fact, experiencing racism, prejudice, bigotry, on the same level that black people in this country experience. Now, I have a question for any white person watching this that believes that white people are being discriminated against at the same level as literally any other race in this country. Can you provide some specific examples? Like tell me how. Like, I am infinitely curious as to how white people in America are being discriminated against. Because last time I checked, I'm a white guy and I have never been discriminated against. My family, also white people, we have never been discriminated against. My friends that are white, they couldn't list a single example either. Now, sure, that's anecdotal, but that's a very large sample size when you factor in all of those humans.

So I am curious if there are any Republicans watching this who happen to think white people are being discriminated against, please provide some specific examples. You know, please provide any kind of evidence you have to back up this point and honestly, I'm a little disappointed that this survey didn't go the extra step and for the people who said, yes, I agree with the statement, you should have followed up and said, how. How is that? Like, where is this white people discrimination coming from? Please point it out to us because honestly, if it is happening, if racism, discrimination, whatever is happening anywhere, it does need to be pointed out and it needs to be corrected. But you can't do that because we all know it's not actually happening. Certainly not to the same degree that discrimination is happening against black people or Hispanic people or the LGBTQ community. It simply doesn't exist. You're out there chasing unicorns, at this point.

It's also worth noting and we have discussed this as well, that 54% of Republicans and 53% of Fox news viewers believe in the core tenant of the great replacement theory, which says that a group, meaning Democrats, are intentionally bringing in non-white people to this country to change the electorate and make white people a minority. 54% of Republicans believe that. It's not just that the demographics are shifting on their own, but it's an active conspiracy by the Democrats to bring in non-white people to vote for Democrats and make white people a minority. I don't even know how you fix this. Like we, we know, we know this isn't happening, but when you have a majority of Republicans who think that white people aren't just being replaced, but they're being discriminated against and there's no evidence to back it up, like that's pretty much all we can say. Right. Is that there's no evidence. We don't even have to argue about evidence because it doesn't exist. So we just have to sit here, just tell them no, no, you're wrong. And that's not an effective argument. So I don't know how to fix this, but we'd better come up with some answers pretty soon.
