Mike Pence, former Vice President of the United States, along with uh, Donald Trump as part of his administration, has a forthcoming autobiography titled, So Help Me God. Right off the bat, you could tell that this is a very pandering title, so help me God. But in the book, according to an excerpt obtained from Axios, Mike Pence describes what he says, the lowest point that he has ever experienced in American politics. And that event happened shortly after the 2020 election. Results were announced when Mike Pence was called into the Oval Office. Donald Trump was there, Trump's good lawyers were there, Trump's bad lawyers were there. And this is what Mike Pence had to say about it. Even in an office well acquainted with rough and tumble debates, it was a new low and went downhill from there.

He then goes on to describe how Donald Trump's good lawyers were all telling him, There's nothing you can do. You lost the election. Can we please go now? But then you had the bad lawyers. You had Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell in the Oval Office, a place where neither of those creeps should ever be. And they were telling Trump, No, don't listen to them. They're not being honest with you. Pence said, Giuliani said of the other lawyers, They're lying to you. We can help you overturn the results of the election. Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. And we all know what happened. Trump went with Giuliani and Powell and then we got that, you know, crazy press conference at Four Seasons, Total Landscaping. Giuliani's hair was melting. Sid Powell talked about the ghost of Hugo Chavez, and the rest is history. And Mike Pence, of course, says that was a new low.

And look, I gotta hand it to you, buddy. I have to imagine that probably was a new low, but I'm also not stupid. And I know exactly what you're doing with this new book that's supposed to be out early next year. What Mike Pence is doing is once again, trying to set himself up as the normal conservative. I'm the rational Republican. I still believe in all the horrible things, but I don't believe in all the crazy things. So vote for me in 2024. This is Mike Pence's 2024 campaign kickoff folks. He is trying to distance himself from Trump. He talks about the fact that they've grown apart and it's all back to this issue because this is the only split. This is the only divide, honestly, in the Republican party today. They all believe in the horrible things. They all wanna strip women of the right to choose what to do with their own bodies. They all wanna engage in voter suppression. They all wanna punish the LGBTQ community with harmful legislation. They wanna destroy the environment. They wanna do tax cuts. There

Is no no dissent in the Republican Party that these are the things they stand for. The divide is between those who accept the 2020 results and those who do not. That's it. And Mike Pence is trying to say, I'm over here on this side. I wanna do the horrible things, but I'm sure not crazy. And he's only doing that. He's only trying to clear the air about where he stands on things so that he can run for president in 2024. Mark my words. That's where this is going.
