DeSantis Launches New Ad Claiming He Was Anointed By God

With just a few days left before the midterm election, Florida governor Ron DeSantis released the cringiest new ad that proclaims that he was anointed by God to "be a protector" of the people. The ad is about as sacrilegious as you can get, but it will certainly move the faux Christians that make up the base of the Republican Party. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses the new ad.

In the final days before the 2022 midterm elections, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has launched a new ad that basically says he was anointed by God to save the state of Florida. So here is just a little snippet from the ad. The whole ad is like over two minutes long. So here is just a small part of it where the narrator explains why God personally chose Ron DeSantis. Here it is.

God said, I need somebody willing to get up before Dawn, kiss his family goodbye, travel thousands of miles for no other reason than to serve the people, to save their jobs, their livelihoods, their liberty, their happiness. Um, very sacrilegious if you ask me, you know, claiming that you were anointed, appointed, whatever by God. Um, that carries a lot of biblical ramifications, especially because that didn't actually happen. So you're using the Lord's name claiming that the Lord chose you, when in fact he did not. And according to the Bible, um, that's probably one of the worst hell worthy trespasses you can commit. So it may work well for you in the campaign, but you better hope that God isn't real because that is definitely something he makes people pay for if you've ever actually read the Bible. Um, so you may win the battle, but uh, your soul is ultimately gonna lose that war, um, for, for using the Lord's name like that, for personal political gain. Um, yeah, we know exactly what the Bible says about that. So dress warm because it's gonna be hot wherever it is you end up.

Uh, here's the thing. I don't think God would pick Ron DeSantis, seeing as how Ron DeSantis allowed 82 plus thousand Floridians die of C and lied about it, attempted to cover it up, changed statistics, stopped reporting. It refused to take care of the least among us, which is kind of like the golden rule of the Bible, right? That is what God wants us to do, protect each other, take care of one another, heal the sick, clothe the naked, you know, those kinds of things. And Ron DeSantis was like, Ah, screw it. Let 'em die. We got our free dumbs, right? You get to not wear a mask cough on your neighbor if you so choose. Who cares? We're Florida, we're staying open. And yes, 82,000 people, more than 82,000 people are now dead in this state from Covid because Ron DeSantis is a horrible, horrible person and an even worse leader.

But unfortunately, Ron DeSantis is cruising to an easy victory tomorrow. It, it, it's not even going to be close. It would take an act of God at this point, unfortunately for Ron DeSantis to lose. Now I want DeSantis to lose. I will be proudly voting against Ron DeSantis tomorrow. I will be voting for Charlie Krist. I don't like him, but he's not as bad as Ron DeSantis. So that's where my vote's gonna go. But yes, it would take an act of God to to get Ron DeSantis out of office at this point, considering what the polling says. And if, if there is a God, maybe you can help us out down here in the state of Florida. I know you probably don't wanna see another 82,000 of your followers die, but that's what we could be looking at. If you give Ron DeSantis a second term.
