Yeah, this question here is so funny. I love it. It's from Paul Kelly. Paul Kelly says, why is your country so screwed up? such, just like straight to the point there, Paul Kelly. I love it. Like, what's wrong? What's wrong with you? Um, well, if I may take a stab at it, what's wrong with us is that we take things a little too literally. Like you have the freedom of speech. Great. That means I get to go and say whatever I want about all the people I hate and just make things up all the time and spread misinformation and be a total dumb butt to put it nicely. Um, that's definitely a big problem. Well, the Second Amendment says I can have whatever weapon I won't, so I'm gonna carry whatever weapon I want. That's a big problem because again, we just take things too lit, uh, literally.
But to really drill down to the heart of it as well, what's wrong with our country is political corruption spurred on by corporate corruption. The money in politics, the money in politics has warped and corrupted absolutely everything that it has touched. Good politicians turning into corporate stooges, corporations getting to poison entire communities, giving them cancer for years and years and years because nobody will touch 'em because of the political money that they spread around. Those are the things that happen in this country, and sure they happen in other countries in the world too, but here in the United States, the political power that these corporations wield, that's what's wrong with us. If we could get rid of just that one part of it, just that part, we would be able to build a better political system with the infrastructure we have now, we wouldn't have to revamp and rewrite the Constitution. We could do it with what we have, but as long as that unlimited corporate money is allowed to flow in there, we are screwed. And I think that is probably, to answer your very succinct question, the most succinct way to say that.
