Ivanka And Jared Hit With Subpoenas By Special Prosecutor

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were both hit with subpoenas to appear before the Special Prosecutor's Grand Jury at the DOJ, a move that shows there is no one too "high profile" to target in this investigation. While both Ivanka and Jared were seemingly NOT involved in the attempts to overturn the election, there is a strong chance that their proximity to Donald Trump, physically speaking, could have led them to overhear vital evidence. It was revealed this week that special prosecutor Jack Smith, with the Department of Justice has issued a subpoena to both Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner. So come on down and let's talk about what happened on January 6th, and maybe even the days before and after that. So here's what's interesting about this. Much like Mike Pence, Jared and Ivanka are not accused of any wrongdoing with regard to the plot to overturn the election. Okay? There's plenty of other stuff, but that's not being investigated, unfortunately. But with regards to overturning the election results, based on what we know, Jared and Ivanka were not evolved. They didn't want anything to do with it. In fact, the day after the insurrection on January 7th, they actually threw a big party and nobody talked about what happened the day before. Like they didn't want to think about it, they didn't want to acknowledge it, they just wanted to go back to their, you know, Manhattan socialite lifestyle as quickly as possible.

And then they ended up moving to Florida cuz nobody wanted them back in New York anymore. But they've been subpoenaed and, uh, we'll see. Right? I mean, honestly, there's not much more to say about this other than the fact that both of these people, Ivanka and Jared did testify in front of the January 6th committee. And so that's what makes the subpoenas a little weird because the January 6th committee gave all of their materials and evidence and everything over to the special prosecutor, like to the doj. So if Jared and Ivanka already testified in front of the January 6th committee, they've said what they know, right? Right. That, that would be the assumption. And if you had everything from them, you wouldn't need to subpoena them. So clearly Jack Smith has looked at the testimony of these two individuals from the January 6th committee and it didn't solve questions that he has.

Now, that's not good for Jared and Ivanka, and that is something that I think most people that have talked about this story this week, they've totally missed that. You don't have to go and redo the same, you know, uh, questioning in an investigation if a different investigative body has already done it. Like you can use those same words, the same deposition, all of it. You don't have to redo it every time. The only reason you would call them back in is because you think you, they either withheld information or there were questions that were important, but were not asked. So there is more that Jack Smith wants from Jared and Ivanka than what the January 6th committee was able to get out of them. So

That's what is interesting about this. Jack Smith has questions, and Jared and Ivanka are going to have to answer them. They didn't put up a fight to go and talk to the January 6th committee. We'll see if they put up a fight to talk to the doj, but I imagine this one's gonna be a little bit more intense because again, they already answered a bunch of questions, but Jack Smith looked at it and said, Uhuh, this isn't good enough. I need more.
