Lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims FBI Set Up 'Honeypots' To Trick Capitol Rioters

Marjorie Taylor Greene is still trying to claim that the people who stormed the Capitol building on January 6th did nothing wrong, and she's creating her own conspiracy theories to justify her idiotic beliefs. On her podcast this week, Greene claimed (falsely) that the FBI had somehow set up "honeypot traps" for the people at the Capitol which is why they committed crimes in the first place. This is a crazy claim, even for Greene, and she failed to provide evidence or even context to back it up. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Marjorie Taylor Green has now resorted to creating her own conspiracy theories in order to back up the idiotic talking points that she has been spewing for about two years now, about the Capitol rioters. Ever since those first rioters were arrested, Marjorie Taylor Green was one of the Republicans out there telling us that this was a setup. Maybe it was Antifa in the crowd that was causing these people to go crazy and they were secretly egging them on. And then she went to, maybe it was the fbi, they had planted people in the crowd. She told us that would, you know, make the conservatives angry and telling them, go storm the Capitol. Now she's moved on to something else. And this one's the weirdest one yet. And I'm not even gonna give you the summary. I'm gonna read you her own words that she spoke on her little podcast this week where she launched this new conspiracy to again, try to validate the things she has been saying for over two years.

You see, this should never happen. The federal government should never be weaponized against the people and set up honey pots and traps to draw people in and take part in making these people commit crimes and then framing the people who set up a narrative against the President. It's wrong. And I believe that's what happened on January 6th. It's the federal government, according to Marjorie Taylor Green, who, who didn't know that the Capitol riot was gonna happen. But somehow, immediately as it like started, they were like, okay, now we've gotta launch into our honeypots, send out the honeypots and traps. Um, which I don't know that Marjorie Taylor greed knows that those words mean other things, but that's what the federal government, according to Marjorie Taylor Green did on January 6th, the federal government that by the way, was actually still under the control of Donald Trump. So let's look at this from a couple different angles.

Marjorie Taylor Green, um, let, first, let's talk about the honey pot. Okay? The honey pot itself, that, that term, uh, has a couple different meanings. One of them, of course is a honey pot trap, which is basically a vulnerability set up in a computer, uh, to try to catch, uh, uh, hackers, I believe. Um, so they set up the little honey pot trap, try to get people to, to break into it and then haha, we got you. The other phrase, and this is what's typically used with the federal government, uh, for spies, is they use honeypots. And that's exactly what you think it is. You know, they will send out attractive women the to uh, go and, you know, schmooze the spies and you know, maybe whatever else happens happens, and uh, boom, then bam, we got 'em. Um,

So I don't know which one Marjorie Taylor Green is talking about. Obviously it can't be the computer thing because you know, these were people. So is Marjorie Taylor Green trying to tell us that Trump's government sent out sexy women into the crowd of Capitol Rioters and said, Hey, why don't you go storm the Capitol big boy, because that is what she is implying. That is what Marjorie Taylor Greene is basically telling you like that. She says, I believe that's what happened on January 6th. Now I've seen the footage, I know you've seen the footage.
