5:18Now PlayingNewsmax and Fox News had to form an unlikely unity this week to attack Donald Trump after he attacked his former press secretary - and current Fox News talking head - Kayleigh McEnany. Both networks slammed the former President for falsely accusing her of doctoring poll numbers to make him look worse, with the networks pointing out that she has been one of the most loyal supporters the former president has ever had. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

So a very weird thing happened this week. Donald Trump got on truth social and in a spelling error filled post attacked his former press secretary. Now, Fox News personality, Kayleigh McEnany. So what was McIn? Annie's big crime McEnany on Fox News where she is employed now. Talked about a poll showing Donald Trump with a 25 point lead over Ron DeSantis. So Donald Trump gets on truth social and says, this is total bs. My lead over DeSantis is much bigger, but he also included a personal attack against Kayleigh McEnany for some reason. So I'm gonna read you what Trump said. Kayleigh milk toast McEnany. And for the record, he actually spelled it like milk toast instead of milk toast. So just keep that in mind as I keep reading here. Kayleigh milk toast. McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on Fox News. I am 34 points up onto Sanc Pon. It's not 25 up. While 25 is great, it's not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll. The rhinos and globalists can have her. Fox News should only use real stars.
You know, one of my favorite things that has happened ever since Donald Trump left the White House is how he has repeatedly and routinely attacked all of the people that he personally picked to work for him in the White House. I mean, it goes all the way back to Jeff Sessions. Christopher Ray, the director of the fbi, um, John Bolton, John Kelly, Mulvaney, bill Barr, and now Kayleigh McEnany has joined that group of people who, by the way, while they were in office, were totally loyal to Donald Trump. And Kayleigh McEnany is still loyal to Donald Trump today, but now she's milk toast, like a piece of toast. She just poured milk on according to Donald Trump. She's not a real star, he says. And she also, for the record, wasn't wrong about the poll. Donald Trump is the one lying about the poll. In case you weren't clear on that, I don't know that I really need to explain to you that Trump is the one lying here. But yeah, the poll did show that he's up 25, not 34. In fact, all the other polls show him up about 30. I haven't seen any that show him right now up 34 points against DeSantis. He's lying about that as he always does. But then the interesting thing happened right after Donald Trump went after Kayleigh McEnany. We saw this weird temporary unification of both Fox News and Newsmax, because both networks joined forces to condemn Donald Trump for attacking Kayleigh McEnany.
And Newsmax, of course, is way more pro-Trump than Fox News is. But the hosts at Fox News who have lashed out at Donald Trump were actually some of the few remaining pro-Trump hosts, including Brian Kil Mead, and then of course, multiple hosts on Newsmax, multiple more hosts on Fox News. All said, this is ridiculous. This is absurd. This is disgusting. One of them said, why are you attacking this woman who did a very good job as press secretary and is still loyal to you to this day? Now, for the record, she did not do a good job as Press Secretary.
