Evidence Suggests Mark Meadows May Have Flipped On Trump

According to new reports out this week, it appears that Mark Meadows may have actually thrown Donald Trump under the bus or possibly flipped on him entirely. Here's what's happening. Mark Meadows, it was reported by a, b, c news, of course, based on some, you know, unnamed sources. But these unnamed sources claim that Mark Meadows told special prosecutor Jack Smith and his wonderful grand jury that he has no recollection whatsoever of Donald Trump declassifying any documents. Like that's not a thing that happened. Mark Meadows said, at least as far as he knows, he never heard Trump make that blanket statement. He never heard anybody else in the White House talking about it. It didn't exist. For all he knows.

Ow, that may not seem like much folks, but Donald Trump's entire defense in the documents case is, Hey, I declassified these. I was totally allowed to do what I did. And if he's got people like Mark Meadows, his right hand man at the time of this, at the time these documents were taken from the White House and he's telling prosecutors like, yeah, that didn't happen. It's about as strong of a witness as you can get. And it gets even worse too, because we also had Vice President Mike Pence come out within the last few days and effectively say the exact same thing. Like there was no standing order for declassification this, this wasn't a thing. It, it is a completely made up defense that nobody in that White House would be able to verify. And that's where Trump, of course, has the problem. But the funnier part is that we don't need Mark Meadows to tell us that Trump didn't do this.

We don't need Mike Pence to tell us Trump didn't do this because we already have Donald Trump on tape telling us that he didn't do this. He didn't declassify. Those are literally the words I could have declassified at the time, but I didn't. So maybe Meadows flipped, maybe he didn't. But either way, we don't technically need it because Trump is on tape already saying he didn't do the thing he's gonna claim in his legal defense. But it never hurts to have more witnesses, right? I mean, if you can bring five people up to prove your point instead of three, bring on the five, you wanna hammer these points home as much as possible at trial. So if they have to call Meadows to verify what's on the tape that he didn't declassify, they'll do it. They have to call Pence. They'll do it. They have to call any other White House employee to come say the same exact thing. They will do it because that's how you cement that point to that jury. Now, the unfortunate part of this, of course, is that this is the documents case. This is the one that is being tried on a

Deep red district filled with Trump supporters. This is the one being overseen by a Trump appointed judge, Eileen Cannon, who has a very horrible history of running trials correctly. So even though they've got Trump on tape, even though they've got multiple witnesses corroborating, it may all be for nothing because those Trump supporters are probably not going to convict their cult leader of any of these crimes.
