Rivals Hope To End DeSantis' Campaign By Crushing Him At Debate

Everything is on the line for Republican Governor Ron Desantis at Wednesday night's debate, and if he delivers a weak performance, it could be all over for him. And that's exactly why the other Republicans that will be on that stage are sharpening their knives to take out his campaign once and for all. It won't be that hard, either, as DeSantis is a notoriously horrible debater. The only thing he has going for him is that Trump won't be there to pile on. Well folks, tomorrow evening is of course the very first Republican primary debate of the 2024 election cycle, and Donald Trump won't be there. He has decided that it's a better use of his time to do an interview with Tucker Carlson on his non-network affiliated show that may or may not end up getting him sued by Fox for breach of contract. They've kind of been going back and forth. No side really knows how to approach it. So it's just still happening and nobody's doing anything about it at Fox. But either way, Trump is not gonna be there, but he is sending his son Donald Trump Jr. And his fiance, Kimberly Gilfoyle, they will be in attendance to be available for the media. You know, because that's what people really want to hear about is what Donald Trump Jr. Has to say about the debate. I'm sure that'll be lively and entertaining, but there will be some people up on that stage.

Obviously those not named Trump, and since Trump won't be there, technically the front runner up on that stage tomorrow night will in fact be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, yes, he is losing his edge. Yes, Republicans like Vivek Rums Swami and uh, Chris Christie are catching up to him in the polls. But DeSantis is the guy to beat up on that stage and that is why these Republicans have decided that they're going to beat up Ron DeSantis on that stage. According to reports, the rivals of Ron DeSantis have been sharpening their knives to come after the Florida governor to effectively deal the death blow to his dying campaign. 'cause let's face it, the one person on that stage who has the most to lose tomorrow is Ron DeSantis, who by the way, as I've been saying for a long time, is a notoriously bad debater. He is very bad on stage.

He is very bad. When he is criticized, he turns red, he gets flustered, he gets super angry to the point where he can barely talk and he's already not good at talking. So it's going to be a total crap show for Ron DeSantis and it could put his campaign into the final little tailspin from which he cannot recover. He will not be able to pull out of that. If any of the other Republican candidates have a mediocre performance tomorrow night, they're fine. If Ron DeSantis has a mediocre performance and everybody's coming after him, he's toast. You know, that's typically how it works. When you are the front runner, there is no margin for error. Trump sitting out might work well for him. It might not. There will be some attacks on Donald Trump. Obviously, there's gonna be mention of the word woke. I would say. We could do a drinking game where you take a sip every time they say the word woke, but then we'd all die of alcohol poisoning. So I do not recommend that at all. But

They'll talk about the border, the invasion. They'll talk about maybe critical race theory, maybe banning some books. There won't be a ton of policy discussion, like we're not gonna hear a lot about the economy and what Republicans want to do with it. We're not gonna hear a lot about how they would actually address any of the actual foreign policy crises that we have. They would attack each other.
