According to new reports, Republican donors are terrified about the prospect of having Donald Trump as the Republican nominee because they know that he'll get crushed. So these financial heavyweights are now trying to recruit other Republicans to join the campaign, even though they would be starting with a severe disadvantage because we'll be several months and one full debate in the rearview mirror. According to a new report from Axios this week, Republican donors, top Republican donors, millionaires, and billionaires have secretly been working behind the scenes to undermine Donald Trump's candidacy. Because you see the billionaire ruling class understands what we all understand, and that is that polls are showing us Donald Trump can easily win a Republican contest, but he has no path to victory in a general election. And that, of course, is freaking out the millionaires and billionaires, right? They wanna put money into Republican candidates, but they don't wanna throw money away on a loser. So they're not giving money to Trump. They've already stopped giving money to Ron DeSantis, and now the report says they're out there hobnobbing and schmoozing with other Republicans trying to get them to please for the love of God, jump into the race and save us. Specifically Republican governors, Glenn Youngen and Brian Kemp from Georgia.

But Youngin has made it clear he doesn't want to get into the race. He might after November. 'cause you know, Virginia's got some, some pretty serious, uh, races coming up this November, a big election, and he doesn't want to do anything that's gonna screw them up and maybe cost Republican seats. So he is playing it cool and quiet. Brian Kemp, I don't know, haven't heard much outta him about his presidential ambitions. Uh, he seems to really though, have his sight set on running for the Senate after his term is up as governor. So that's probably where he is headed. So, Republican donors, these poor forgotten constituents are left with these big piles of money that they wanna give away, but, uh, we don't wanna give it to a loser. My advice for you then is stop giving money to Republicans. If you don't wanna give money to losers, don't give money to Republicans.

If you don't want to give money to extremist, authoritarian types, then don't give money to Republicans. If you don't want to give money to politicians who don't actually talk about issues, then don't give money to Republicans. I don't know if you can tell, but there's a bit of a pattern emerging here, right? But in the end, none of it matters because no matter who that Republican nominee is gonna be, these millionaires and billionaires are gonna line up. Either they'll keep their powder dry and just spend it on not a presidential candidate. They'll buy some Senate seats, maybe some house seats, but I think we will be not surprised when they start opening their wallets and writing those checks to whoever the Republican nominee is, even if it's Donald Trump, because they know at the end of the day that the biggest way to secure those tax breaks is to make sure that a Republican, even a horrible one they hate, is holding the White House. This whole primary thing is said and done, these big donors just like all the other Republicans who say, oh, I won't support this person, or I won't spurt that one, they'll all fall in line. It'll be miraculous, just like Domino's suddenly lined up, falling down, and they will support the person, even if it's Donald Trump.
