Trump Has A Private Investigator Snooping Around Manhattan As Trials Near

According to new reports, Donald Trump has hired a private investigator that is somehow "working" on the upcoming E. Jean Carroll case, as well as the Manhattan District Attorney's case against him, but no one will answer any questions as to what the investigator is doing. The firm where the investigator works has been paid well over $100,000 from Trump's political action committee. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

It appears that Donald Trump has a, uh, hired a private investigator to, uh, go snooping around Manhattan, New York City. Uh, and nobody knows why. It has been confirmed that Trump's Save America Pac has paid $152,000 to the, uh, private investigator for, uh, firm of Sean Crowley, who is a former New York police captain. But neither Trump or his lawyers or the Crowley firm will say what exactly the Crowley firm has been hired to do for Donald Trump. Now, according to the reports the Crowley firm has in fact been, uh, working. We use that in quotation marks on the Eugene Carroll Defamation trial that Donald Trump is facing coming up in January, as well as the Manhattan trial that he is facing coming up in December. But to what end? Like what, what, what do you need a private investigator for? Nothing makes any sense. Right? Well, one thing we also learned recently was that Michael Cohen has reported seeing a clandestine type figure off in the distance of his apartment taking pictures of him.

Could that be somebody from the Crowley firm? It's possible. Donald Trump is suing Michael Cohen for half a billion dollars. So yeah, I mean, that would be something you absolutely could hire a private investigator for. And here's the thing, nobody is suggesting for a second that Donald Trump is breaking the law, but you're using your super PAC to just blatantly pay a higher, uh, a private investigator to work on legal cases. And we don't even know exactly which legal cases they are. I mean, can we please, for the love of God, actually get some regulations on Super pacs? I know some people watching be like, Faron, there are regulations there. There's really not there. There really just absolutely are no regulations. If you've got a super pac, you can just spend that money on whatever you want, as long as you're not putting it in your own pocket.

And even then it's, you know, well, depends on how you put it in your pocket, right? But, but this, this is just totally nuts. So I, I feel like every story I end up talking about these days just makes me lose all faith in humanity, all faith in the United States, like we have no rules, we have no laws. You can just do whatever the hell you want. And the more money you have, the more crap you can do that. That's what we're looking at here. It's one of those like, I'm mad as hell and I don't want to take it anymore moments, but I also don't know what the hell to do. So there it is. Trump is using his political action committee money to hire a private investigator to roam the streets of New York, taking pictures of people he doesn't like. Do with that information what you will.
