Fani Willis 'Scandal' Starts To Fall Apart After Divorce Filings Unsealed

The divorce filings for the prosecutor that is allegedly having an affair with Fani Willis were unsealed this week, and it created a giant hole in the scandal. The divorce proceedings - hundreds of pages long - don't actually mention Willis at all, which is a major blow to the Republicans that are trying to use this as an excuse to get the charges against Trump and others dropped. There was a very interesting development in the NY Willis scandal this week, and it involved the unsealing of the divorce proceedings from the prosecutor that is on Willis' team that she allegedly was having an affair with. And the funniest part is that the unsealing of these divorce papers was actually requested by one of the co-defendants in Georgia, a man by the name of Michael Roman. Roman is the one who filed the complaint initially that says that Fannie Willis is having an affair with his guy and went on vacations with 'em using state money and we demand an investigation and we may even call for a mistrial dismissal of charges, all of that. And so the judge this week finally said, okay, you want the divorce proceedings unsealed? I'll unseal these divorce proceedings so that you can use them for your, for your case here that you're filed. And unfortunately for Mr. Roman, those divorce proceedings, those papers, hundreds of pages by the way, do not contain one single mention of the name FA Willis. They do mention other people that Mr. Wade, the prosecutor may have had extramarital affairs with. So based on these documents, it does appear that Mr. Wade, according to at least his ex-wife, has, you know, not exactly been faithful, but in all those charges of uh, uh, um, what was it, unfaithfulness?

No, Fannie Willis. Huh, interesting. Right. But here's what's even more interesting. Fannie Willis wasn't even actually brought into this whole thing until Mr. Roman's complaint. It was after Mr. Roman's complaint that Willis was then subpoenaed to come and, and testify for the divorce proceedings. So all of this could be totally bogus. I know a couple days ago things were looking pretty bad, you know, it was looking like, oh God, Fannie Willis may have done these things. Because yeah, there are trips, the trips that Roman and Marjorie Taylor Greene, by the way, alleged that Fannie Willis took with Mr. Wade showed up on Mr. Wade's credit cards. But we don't actually have the evidence, at least right now, that Fannie Willis was the person who went with him on those trips. And also they clearly were not paid for with state money. So that allegation that's gone and it may be gone altogether. So again, very interesting developments that blow a giant hole into the GOP's claims that Fannie Willis is having an affair with this

Prosecutor, and that somehow changes the facts of the case. It doesn't. Now, would it be improper? Sure, absolutely. I'm not gonna argue with you on that. Does it affect the facts of the case? Does it affect what the grand jury decided? Not one bit. Not at all. But now it's looking that maybe the affair never even happened in the first place. Maybe this was just another concoction by the defendants to try to weasel their way out of the charges against them. And it's really starting to look like that might be the case after all.
