Trump Organization Accountant Absolutely Destroys Trump's Defense During Testimony

During testimony this week, an accountant for the Trump Organization absolutely obliterated the defense in the case by testifying that checks were sent to Donald Trump to sign while he was in The White House, and those checks were the actual reimbursement checks to Michael Cohen. This is about as much of a slam dunk as you can get in the case, and at this point it is hard to think that Trump won't be convicted (although whether or not he gets punished is still not looking great.) So far this week, folks, we have had two days of Donald Trump in court Tuesday. Of course, we had Stormy Daniels testify and, uh, that didn't go well for Donald Trump at all, but it was Monday. The Monday testimony from an accountant at the Trump Organization, uh, in my opinion, was actually far more powerful than what Stormy Daniels laid out on Tuesday. Don't get, I'm not taking anything away from Stormy Daniel's testimony. Monday was better because here's why. You had a current Trump organization accountant by the name of, uh, Deborah Tarasoff. And what Ms. Te, uh, Tarasoff testified to was this quote, it was Trump and his sons who had to approve the pla payment of any invoice of $10,000 or more. In the former president's case, he always used a black Sharpie and would write void if he didn't want to approve a payment. Prosecutors then introduced as evidence a check stub for the first payment to Cohen, totaling $700,000 to cover January and February, 2017, and signed by Weisselberg and Eric Trump. Of the $420,000 total paid to Cohen, $105,000 of it came from a Trump Trust. The rest came from his personal bank account. After he became president. Tarof testified that invoices and checks that Trump needed to sign would be sent via FedEx to the White House. If he didn't wanna sign it, he would sign it. He wouldn't sign it and send it back.

So Trump had the checks. He knew what the checks were for some of them, he signed, some of them he didn't sign. Some of them were done before he was in the White House. Some of them were done while he was at the White House. Can you imagine a sitting president of the United States, right? I'm sitting here, the Oval Office desk. I'm doing president stuff, right? Oh, I got a FedEx. Okay. What's this, uh, hush money payment for sex with a porn star. Yep. Let me, uh, go ahead and gonna, there you go. Pay 'em off. Good job. All right, back to president. Now, are we to believe that that is what happened? Because that is horrific, but based on the testimony from Mrs. Tarasoff, that's what happened. Trump knew about it, knew about the payments personally, signed off on the payments, knew what the payments were going for. I mean, almost case closed at that point. It feels like they got him dead to rights at this point, folks. Yeah, it's a statement, a comment that Mike Papantonio likes to make all the time when you've just got somebody and there's no way out of it. That to me is what this looks like. And there's more. And notes by McConney and Weisselberg calculating the amounts. Cohen needs to be reimbursed to make him whole after disguising the reimbursements as legal fee income. So not only do you have the payments, he knows what they're for. He personally did it. They were being done in the White House. They were being done outside of the White House, but you also have the exhibits where Donald Trump's COO Weisselberg, and of course McConney were in there telling him like.
