Eric Trump Falsely Claims That Black Voters Are Flocking To His Dad After His Conviction

Eric Trump believes that his father now having a felony conviction makes him appeal more to black voters, and he said during a recent interview that black voters are going to his father "in spades." Not only does that word carry obvious racist overtones, but he's also completely wrong about this block of voters moving over to his father. While it is true that President Biden's support among black voters has fallen, the same polls show that they aren't going over to Trump. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

During an interview with Fox News host Maria Bart Romo this week, Eric Trump, the dumbest of all of the Trump kids. And I'm saying that as somebody that's literally never even heard Barron Trump talk, but I'm going to assume his older half-brother Eric, is far dumber than he could ever hope to be. But Eric Trump this week made a very racist comment about how black people are now flocking to his father following his criminal conviction. Here's what Eric Trump said for the first time. They realize, and of course he's talking about black voters, they realize that the system's coming down, that he's the victim. He's the victim that oftentimes some of their communities were okay. So there's your first big mistake, but let me continue. You see them swinging. Look at the African American vote, right? That's swinging over to Donald Trump in spades.

In spades. Now, everybody on social media was very quick to point out the fact that using the word spade to refer to an African American is exceptionally racist. In fact, I did a little digging on this. There's actually research papers going back to like the year 2013, showing how the word spade has become a very racist word to use, talking about black people. So this is not something new. This is something that has been such a racially charged word in a negative way that 11 years ago we had academic papers talking about it. But here is the idiot Trump Scion saying, yeah, they're coming over in spades. Like, holy crap. And this is by the way, is just days after we got the report from the, uh, former apprentice producer that said, Donald Trump is on tape saying the N word. Like, Jesus Christ, Eric, are you not paying attention to the news?

Or can you just not help yourself kinda like your dad? Then of course, and this is honestly almost worse, implying that, Hey, my dad's a convicted felon, black people. You know what that's like, right? Like you are, you are implying that hey, black people always get arrested. So my dad's got that going for him, which for the record, Donald Trump himself has made that suggestion in the past year. Um, again, hugely racist. But here's the thing, again, everybody on social media was very quick to point out the, uh, racism in this statement. And, and I I, I don't wanna give Eric Trump much credit, but he is so dumb folks that I don't even think he knows that those are racist statements. Like he is too dumb to know that these are racist statements. Um, but there is something that everybody completely ignored about this story. The fact that we do have black voters here

In the United States that are abandoning President Biden. He was at 87% support from black voters in the year 20 20, 80 7% most recent polls. So he's now at 71% that, that, that's a giant drop, that is a 16 point drop with the African American community. So the question of course becomes is Eric Trump, right? Are these voters now moving over to his dad? Biden lost 16%. So obviously Trump gained 16%, right? Nope. Trump support among the black community jumped up from 12% all the way up to 13%. So just, just a little 1% jump. That's it. That's all we've seen. So no, these voters are not abandoning Biden to go to Donald Trump. They're basically turning into non-voters at this point. And the Biden campaign says they have a plan, they have strategies they're working on bringing these, uh, voters back in.
