Samuel Alito's Neighbor Says He's ‘Outright Lying’ About Upside Down Flag Dispute

The neighbor that allegedly had some problems with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito's wife spoke out publicly about their altercations last week, and suggested that the Alito family is "outright lying" about what happened. One of the big issues was the upside down flag that was flown outside of Alito's home following the 2020 election. Alito claimed the flag was put that way after a spat with the neighbor, but the neighbor says the flag was like that for weeks before things blew up. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, of course, has been in the news recently after it was reported that he flew an upside down flag at his home following the 2020 election. And of course, the January 6th Capitol riot in 2021. Now, according to Samuel Alitos wife, uh, Martha and Alito, she says that they only flew the upside down American flag because, you know, they were having a problem with their neighbor, which sure, that's a normal thing, right? You get in a fight with your neighbor, you go take your flag down and put it up upside down. Who hasn't done it, right? No, it's a very stupid, crazy defense of what happened. In fact, in a letter to Congress, Martha Alito actually said this, A house on the street displayed a sign attacking her personally, and a man who was living at the house trailed her all the way down the street and berated her, uh, in my presence using foul language, including what I regard as the violist epithet that can be addressed to a woman that's actually from Samuel Alito about his wife. So, um, yeah, that's what they claimed. The neighbors started all this, but the neighbors, Emily Baden specifically decided they were tired of the lies. So, Baden came out in an interview on CNN last week and explained what really happened. What I really want to drive home to people is that this happened on February 15th, and we know that because they had been harassing us so long that we were like, we need a paper trail of this. We'd better call the cops right now. And they did.

So they were on record calling the cops due to the harassment. They say they suffered at the hands of Martha Ann Alito. And on February 15th, they had said the upside down flag had already been out there for weeks before they had any initial confrontations. And yes, Baden does admit, like I had anti-Trump signs in my yard because I don't like him. And what he just did at, you know, January 6th, who can blame her, right? But the upside down flag had been there long before the confrontation. And she said, at best he's mistaken, but at worst, he's just outright lying, talking about alitos defense of what happened. But she continued. Martha, an Alito approached us, started screaming at us, used all of our full names, which to me felt like a threat. And I just started yelling, how dare you? Because they both were there at the same time. So I said, how dare you? You're on the highest court in the land. You represent the Supreme Court of the United States. You're behaving this way. You're yelling at a neighbor, you're harassing us. How dare you, shame on you. And then she said about, you know, that derogatory term she used to, you know, address Alitos wife. She said, I do regret using the word because the message is important. It's like the power imbalance between these people and me.

I'm nobody to them. And the fact that they took umbrage with my sign is telling enough. It shows a bias, doesn't it? Yes, it does. But we may never know, right? Like, which side is telling the truth here? You got two angry neighbors mad at each other. But we do know one thing. That upside down flag is in fact a sign of the, you know, a symbol used by the Insurrectionists.
