So it's now been a week since Donald Trump gave his interview with, uh, Newsmax last week, where he, you know, suggested that of course he was going to prosecute his political enemies because after all, they did the same thing to him, right? Here's what he said specifically, in case you've been living under a rock for the last week. He said, quote, I said, wouldn't it really be bad? Wouldn't it be terrible to throw the president's wife and the former Secretary of State put the president's wife into jail talking about Hillary Clinton? But they wanna do it, you know, it's a terrible, terrible path that they're leading us to, and it's very possible that it's going to have to happen to them. Now again, that story's a week old. So why am I bringing it up when it's been over a week since he made these statements?

Because it's not over. Donald Trump has repeatedly suggested he will go after the people he perceives to be his political enemies. And when he does it, the media does a really good job for like 36 hours of talking about it. Sometimes less than that, most of the time, less than that. This one lived a little bit longer than usual, but it's already disappeared. We've moved on. We're onto the next outrage, the next post on truth, social, the next horrible thing that the Republican party, uh, suggests. And everybody's already forgotten about the fact that Donald Trump basically told us during a live on the air interview that he's going to come after us. And yes, I say us because I mean us, anyone that does not agree blindly with him will be a target. Oh, sure. He'll go after the big ones first, right? It'll be President Biden.

It'll be Hillary Clinton. For some reason it'll be Alvin Bragg and Fanny Willis. And then he'll realize, well, wait a minute. I can't do much to other people. Let me go after those media outlets that I hate. Let me go after M-S-N-B-C. Let me go after CNN. Let me go after some of the people on Fox that don't like him. And then once he's done with those folks, he'll move further down the line. You know, YouTubers, podcasters, columnists, New York Times, Washington Post, he hates those papers too. And it won't ever stop once it starts. Once this gets in motion, it will not end. And that is the danger of it. And he has made these comments so many times now that we can't just dismiss this as like, ah, it's a one-off thing. Yeah, he said a thing one time. He has said it multiple times. He has sent it out in campaign emails with headlines that say, I am your retribution. This is what he wants to do. He has a plan to do it. Project 2025, taking over all the government positions, purging the DOJ of anyone that will push back when he says, go prosecute, uh uh, Jake Tapper. Go prosecute Rachel Maddow. And they'll say, yes, boss on it.

That's the plan. That's why they want to replace these government employees with Trump loyalists. It's not because they're harder workers, it's because they won't tell him no when he asks them to do these horrific, unconstitutional things. So when Trump tells us that he wants to prosecute his political enemies, understand, number one, it's not a bluff. But more importantly, number two, they already have plans in place to start doing this.
