Former Trump official Alyssa Farrah Griffin. In a recent podcast interview for Mediaite, once again told the story, or at least told part of the story about how Donald Trump during a meeting one time in the White House where they were talking about a leaker among them, Donald Trump suggested executing this government employee. Now, this is not the first time Alyssa Farrah Griffin has told this story. This is not the second or third time she's told this story. She's made it very clear in the last year or so that Donald Trump definitely wanted to kill somebody while he was president of the United States, possibly more than one somebody, because they were leaking stories to the press that Donald Trump simply didn't like. But this time in telling the story, she wasn't just reminding people that, Hey, he kind of wants to kill people. She was also telling the story about how the disgusting syco offense all around him, like Mike Pence and Bill Barr still support him even though they know that this is what he does.

So here's what Farrah Griffin had to say. Mike Pence declined to endorse Trump. But then you have people like Nikki Haley and Bill Barr who are either endorsing him or saying that they would probably vote for him despite being very critical. And there is a difference between saying you disagree with some of some of his policies and saying, this person is fundamentally unfit for office, but I might vote for him. How do you explain that there are people who are very smart, like Nikki Haley and Bill Barr who watched the first Trump term from the inside and have described it as a very dangerous, but are still saying, well, we might vote for him in 2024. Let me, before I continue and get to the heart of this, let me just say that these people are not saying they might vote for him. Both Nikki Haley and Bill Barr have made it clear they're 100% voting for him.

So she's saying they might vote for him, but they have said they are voting for him. So just to kind of fact check her on that, she's a little bit wrong. 'cause those people are not waffling. They're not saying they might, they're saying they are, but let me continue it's power. I think power is just one of the most enticing things that we have in society. Kaitlyn Collins, to her credit, interviewed Bill Barr and asked about an anecdote that I had shared about a meeting. He and I were both in the Oval Office where Trump straight up said a staffer who leaked a story should be executed. And Bill Barr kind of danced it, uh, danced around it, and I said, and said, I don't recall that specific instance, but there were others where we talked about executing people. How do you rationalize that, you know, as a person fit in sound judgment to be president of the United States. They're reading the tea leaves, they know there's a very real chance he's going to be president again and there's not a lot of glory or victory in being right, but being on the wrong side of Trump.
