4:44Now PlayingAfter backing out of the schedule presidential debate on ABC on September 10th, Donald Trump has now offered a new time and place to debate Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. Trump says that the new debate will be on September 4th, and it will be hosted by Fox News with moderators that Trump has chosen. The man is absolutely terrified of debating Harris, and that’s the message that the Harris campaign put out in response to Trump’s pathetic offer. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains why this is happening.

After backing out of the scheduled debate that was supposed to take place on September 10th on a BC, Donald Trump has now said he has agreed to a debate with Kamala Harris, except he worked behind the scenes to set all the terms so that it's favorable to him and hostile to her. Trump in a post on, uh, Friday evening, said that this new debate is going to take place September 4th. So six days before the other one was supposed to happen. It's gonna be on Fox News. You're gonna have a live studio audience. And of course, he's already picked the moderators. Here's what Trump put out there. I have agreed with Fox News to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The debate was previously scheduled against sleepy Joe Biden on a BC, but has been terminated and that Biden will no longer be a participant. And I am in litigation against a BC network and George Slop, dolus thereby creating a conflict of interest. The Fox News debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at a site, in an arena, in an area, excuse me, to be determined. The moderators of the debate will be Brett Barr and Martha McCallum. And the rules will be similar to the rules of my debate with Sleepy Joe, who has been treated horribly by his party, but with a full arena audience.
Trump needs the audience because he can't feed off energy that's not there. And even with a full audience, he probably still won't get that energy, but he is already picked the moderators. Martha McCallum is a huge pro-Trump person on Fox News. Uh, Brett Bears a little more on the fence, but Fox is gonna host it. No fact checking. But you know, the previous debate he says was terminated because Biden was supposed to be the other person. Except when you actually look at the criteria for the previous debate, it did not specify against President Biden. That's actually not in there. So Trump is lying about that. And of course his claims that, well, I'm suing a B, C News and George Stephanopoulos. So it's a conflict of interest. No, it's not. You can still do the debate and you can still sue them. That that lawsuit does not preclude you from doing that debate.
And if you're actually worried about that, you can just drop the lawsuit. 'cause you're not gonna win it anyway. So, you know, save yourself a little money and time there, but whatever, you're a coward. And that is exactly what the Kamala Harris campaign came out and said, following Donald Trump's changing of the terms, they issued a statement that said, quote, Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of a debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out. He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on September 10th. The vice president will be there one way or the other to take the opportunity to speak to a prime time national audience. Mr. Anytime, anywhere, any place should have no problem with that unless he's too scared to show up on the 10th. Now, here's the issue
