During his speech in Georgia this past weekend, Donald Trump essentially admitted that he has no idea how to handle Kamala Harris as his new democratic opponent. But he did give up the game, right? They're, they're struggling to define her. And for the record, this has not gone unnoticed by the Republican party. Republicans in the House and Senate recently spoke to the media about how horrible Trump is doing in his job as their candidate. Here's what one Republican senator said, and of course, most of them spoke on the condition of anonymity, but this Republican senator said, quote, I think they were caught off guard. I, I think they were surprised. I think there was shock when the Democrats revived their party really quickly and unified behind Harris. I think she's more formidable than Republicans give her credit for. It's going to be a short election that favors her.

It's going to be, be a sprint. We're used to these long elections. This one's going to end up being short and that helps her. Another Republican said quote, I think it was a surprise. I wasn't surprised at all. I was already betting on a different nominee. What was impressive to me was how quickly they consolidated behind Harris. Even Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said this, it's pretty hard. She's sort of having a honeymoon period here. I think the way forward is she empowered the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. She was, the borders are, uh, on and on and on. Her, her policy choices have been disastrous for our country. I think that's the theme, but Trump's not going with those themes. Oh, he'll touch on 'em here and there, but Trump would rather, you know, say that, Hey, she's not black. In fact, late last week, Donald Trump posted a picture of her on social media where she was wearing a sari and said, uh, thank you, Kamala, for the nice picture you sent from many years ago.
