3:53Now PlayingDonald Trump got on Truth Social this week to brag about one of his endorsed candidates, Mike Kehoe, winning the Republican gubernatorial primary. But Trump’s own supporters weren’t happy with his endorsement or his bragging, and they told him to “shut your mouth” and some went as far as to simply “boo” him in the replies. Trump is continuing to anger his own base, and that’s not going to win him any elections. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Donald Trump took to truth social this week not to have a public mental health crisis. Um, actually just to kind of boast about the fact that one of the people he endorsed in a primary on Tuesday actually won their primary. That person happens to be Mike Keho, who is currently the Lieutenant Governor of Missouri. Uh, he won the Republican primary in the gubernatorial race. So he is now going to be the Republican candidate for governor in Missouri on this year's ballot. And he posted a simple thing. It was an image that said, Mike Kehoe wins endorsed by President Trump. So Bragga OSUs, sure, but that's it. Like one of the only posts Donald Trump has put out in weeks that wasn't completely insane and that didn't actually contain a lie. Mike Kehoe did win. He was endorsed by Donald Trump. like the first time, Trump tells the truth and his base revolted against him for it. Here are some of the responses to Donald Trump's boast about endorsing Mike Kehoe. And then Kehoe winning one said, uh, bad choice, not going to be good for us. Missourians another pro MAGA account simply wrote Boo.
So even when they're not seeing him in public, he's still getting booed on his own social media platform by his own supporters. They are booing him. Another said, uh, Missouri State Senator Bill Egel was a much better choice. Choice. Another said it should have been Bill Egel, Missouri really dropped the ball tonight. Another one said, who identifies as a God-fearing conservative Christian said Mike Kehoe is a rhino that true Missourians did not want. Do your research or keep your mouth shut. A Trump supporter told Donald Trump on the social media platform that he owns to keep your mouth shut. Holy hell. And it actually gets even worse.
Another one took things so far to say Missouri is so disappointed in you Trump, I pray Bill Egel will ask for an audit because why would anyone want a paid for liar who rides around in a green and blue bus paid for by a Chinese company and voted to sell our land three times to foreign countries, took money from the Gates family and wants amnesty for illegals. Apparently you, since you endorsed him, what has happened to you now? I think the real question is what has happened to Trump's own followers, like his cult members? They have revolted against him so many times in the last three week that I've lost track, they've called him out for lying about his knowledge of Project 2025. They called him out for picking
JD Vance. They called him out for endorsing Blake Masters. Uh, they called him out, uh, for, uh, his racist attacks on Kamala Harris. They're calling him out for everything. And these are people who even six months ago wouldn't dare, wouldn't dare call Donald Trump out. And now here they are, openly, publicly saying, shut your mouth boo. What happened to you? Wow. Maybe just, maybe there's a little bit of hope for these people to be deprogrammed from the Trump cult once he loses this coming November.
