3:37Now PlayingDuring an interview on Newsmax this week, Donald Trump’s campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt completely imploded when the conservative hosts asked her why Trump won’t do a debate on ABC with Kamala Harris. The question came after Leavitt proclaimed that Trump is still engaging with “hostile” media outlets, which of course is absolutely false. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

During an interview on Newsmax this week, Trump campaign spokesperson, Caroline Levitt, absolutely imploded when the very friendly and very Trump supporting Newsmax host asked her a very simple question, which is, why won't Trump debate Kamala Harris on a b, c news? And the reason they even asked her this is because Levitt was foolish enough to admit that, hey, Donald Trump is out there and he's not afraid of hostile media outlets. He'll still talk to hostile media outlets. He ain't afraid of nothing. And that's of course when the host had to ask, then, why, why is he running away from a B, C? So here is the clip, watch what happens when these hosts ask this Trump spokesperson a very simple question that she can't even answer. Here it is.
And he will never back down from the hostile, fake news media, he's not afraid. But
Why won't former President Trump debate on a, b, c news, the one he committed to with Biden Harris said she'd show up to that one. Do you have an answer for that? Does he have an answer for that?
Yes, we do. Well, first of all, that debate was committed between President Trump and, and Joe Biden. The race has changed. And also,
So you notice at the end, right after they press her on this, she's like, he's not afraid of anything. Well then why won't we go on A, B, C? Uh, she stumbles and stutters at first because, oh crap. I, I, I didn't think you were gonna ask me about that, and I'm not prepared to answer. So the answer she did give of course, was that, well, that debate was with President Biden and Biden's not the person anymore. Technically, in the fine print of that document, it was not agreed who the people would be. So technically no, you're wrong on that point. Not to mention the fact that your own guy, Donald Trump himself, said the big reason he can't do it is 'cause he's currently suing a b, C news. And George Stephanopoulos, you know, there'd be a conflict of interest there. You could have gone with that, right?
Because even though that's not a conflict of interest, and he could still do the debate without compromising his lawsuit for the record, um, it's still kind of a reasonable, uh, uh, response, right? It's like, okay, well he's suing them. So I get it. You could have done that, but you couldn't even do that. So you once again, move the goalposts like, oh, well, it's, yeah, it's, it's a different person. If so, clearly we can't do what we were gonna do, because now it's a different person. So now, because it's a different person, we have to do it on Fox News in front of a live audience with Donald Trump's handpicked moderators. You know, that's, that's only fair. No. The Trump campaign has given excuse after excuse, after excuse each one, different as to why he will not appear on a, b, c news. And it's really insanely pathetic that his own SPO spokesperson couldn't remember all of the other excuses they had already given. So she stumbled and fumbled her way through her answer, giving a new excuse that, as I mentioned, doesn't even hold any water. This is the people that Trump has out there helping run his campaign. So it's no wonder that everything is going so badly for him.
