10:28Now PlayingDonald Trump went to Montana this past weekend for a rally, and it couldn’t have gone worse for him. The convicted felon struggled to stay on a single topic, and the crowd looked like they were about to fall asleep – when they weren’t busy looking around and acting completely non-interested in what Trump was saying. Meanwhile, Harris gave an electrifying speech in Las Vegas filled with energy and upbeat messages. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins contrasts the differences between the two rallies.

This past weekend, Donald Trump went to Montana to hold a rally. After, of course, sending JD Vance around the country, following Kamala Harris and Tim Walls. Over the week, Trump decided it was finally time to get off the bench and end of the game. And unfortunately for Donald Trump, it was an absolute disaster. Not only was Donald Trump being exceptionally low energy, a claim that he loves to make about all of his opponents, but the crowd at the rally itself looked like they were bored to tears. Let me show you this clip At one point, I mean, you could see the crowd just like looking around. They're bored. They don't want to be there. But anyway, here is Donald Trump talking about himself. While the crowd could not seem less interested, here it is,
That's a few months now it's, the numbers are much worse. They've let an invasion of our comp country happened. But I took a look and because I took that look, I mean, what are the chances of that? So I just want to thank everybody. 'cause I'll tell you what the level of love and compassion and, and all of the things that we all went through, that was a terrible thing. And we're gonna be very careful. We have to be very careful.
Again, every like at one point, everybody's like, what is going on up here? You guys see the ceiling? It says it's pretty. That's mu, that's much cooler than what this guy's saying. And the thing that gets me about this is that what Trump was saying there, you would think, would elicit a round of cheers and applause from the crowd. 'cause he was talking about the outpouring of support that he received after the shooting at his rally several weeks ago. Okay? He's like, Hey, I survived this thing. Everybody is like, Hey, we got all this sympathy for you. Right?
Right. Any, anybody? Somebody, oh, they're looking up here. I'm gonna look up here. At one point Trump looks up like, I don't know what was happening there. Uh, but why would you even bother going to a rally if you don't care? Like, that's what gets me about is those people are bored to death. They don't wanna be there. And you chose to be there. You could have just gotten up and left. You didn't have to sit there. And for the record, photographs of the event from different angles also showed that all of the seating on the sides of this arena was empty, like roped off empty. So Donald Trump was speaking to a tiny crowd in Montana that clearly did not want to be there. If this is the energy that he is gonna have at his rallies, pretty soon he is gonna have to start paying people to show up.
Now, the reason this is important is because one, it shows the complete lack of enthusiasm for Donald Trump. Even in a deep red state like Montana, those people in that crowd may have been bored. They didn't care what he had to say, but they're all still gonna vote for him. Trump's not gonna lose Montana. In fact, no offense to Montana, but because of the electoral college system, you guys have so few electoral college votes. I don't know why he would waste his time even going there. Maybe that was like a practice run for what he's gonna do at an upcoming rally. I don't know. But you know, it, it's not really worth the fight in a state. You're already gonna win. But what was Kamala Harris doing while Donald Trump was speaking to crowds in Montana? Was she hiding from the press? Like the conservative media loves to tell us, Nope, she was doing this.
