as posted by the channel

The state of Georgia is one of many states that felt the wrath of Hurricane Helene last week, and with flooding and power outages throughout the southeast, Marjorie Taylor Greene decided to go to a football game instead of dealing with the crisis. This didn’t go unnoticed by her newest enemy Laura Loomer, and Loomer blasted the do-nothing Republican for ignoring the crisis happening in her own backyard. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

The devastation from Hurricane Helene has been absolutely hellacious across the entire southeast Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, absolute devastation, um, latest counts I've seen more than a hundred people have now died. I'm sure by now everybody has seen the, the video of bridges collapsing buildings completely underwater historic sites. It it, it's horrific. And the problem is, it's been horrific ever since this storm came through Thursday and Friday. And you would think that all the politicians from these states, right, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, you would think that those politicians would be a little preoccupied with the devastation in their own states. But instead, some of them, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, decided, ah, who cares that people are dead? Who cares? That part of my state is underwater. I'm gonna go to the football game because Donald Trump is at the football game. And of course, I'm referring to the Alabama Georgia football game that took place on Saturday with a very unfortunate ending, by the way.

But Marjorie Taylor Greene showed up on Saturday evening in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the football game to get a photograph with Donald Trump. Parts of her state were underwater. And instead of working with state officials, federal officials, instead of doing anything to help anyone, she pulled a Ted Cruz and said, screw you. I'm outta here. I want to go have some fun. And believe it or not, an unlikely hero emerged from this who called Marjorie Taylor Green out. And that unlikely hero is none other than right wing provocateur Laura Loomer. Now, of course, Loomer's motivations are a little bit suspect because Luer has had it out for Marjorie Taylor Greene for quite some time now. Uh, there is no love loss between these two. But Loomer actually totally correct, got on social media and blasted Marjorie Taylor Greene for going to the football game instead of giving a about what was happening in her state. Here's what Loomer said. It speaks volumes to her lack of focus as a congresswoman, and it really shows she is more interested in fanfare as opposed to helping people in her state gross negligence from a woman who is unfit to serve.

And I never thought in my life these words would come outta my mouth, but I agree 100% with every word that Laura Loomer said right there. Now, I'm not saying that Laura

Loomer is suddenly an ally to any of us on the left. She definitely is not. I'm not excusing all of her past horrible racist comments. Nope. She is still, in my opinion, an absolutely despicable human being. But as they say, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. And I think that's what we're looking at here with Laura Loomer. Marjorie Taylor Greene, just like Ted Cruz in the Texas deep freeze, um, abandoned her state in a time of need. It doesn't matter if it's not your district, it doesn't matter if, oh, that's a different part of the state. I'm not worried about that. No, it's your state. You a federal official. It's your job. That's your job. Like that is the one thing you really have to be on the ground for showing people that you do give a. And these people are suffering and will be suffering for weeks and weeks.
