Fox News host Sage Steele had nothing but praise for Donald Trump’s performance during his Meet The Press interview that aired on Sunday, and she went as far as to say that he is “softer, kindler, and gentler” than before. In order to believe that this is true you’d have to ignore the entire interview, especially the part where Trump attacked host Kristen Welker as “nasty” for asking him tough questions. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Fox News absolutely loves what they saw from Donald Trump in that meet the press interview from this Sunday to the point where one Fox News host by the name of Sage Steele actually praised Donald Trump for being kinder, gentler, and softer. Now, in case you didn't watch the interview on Meet the Press, or if you haven't seen any clips, or if you haven't read any, you know, transcripts of it, let me give you a brief rundown. During the interview, Donald Trump was exceptionally combative. He, uh, repeatedly argued with Meet the Press host Kristen Welker, about tariffs and how they actually cost us money instead of other countries. Trump still can't wrap his brain around that. And at one point he called her nasty. He accused her of being nice to President Biden when she interviewed him, even though she never interviewed Biden. So he lied to her face about her own life.

He was an a-hole the whole time, like it was absolutely horrific. But Fox News pointed to one tiny sentence that Trump said, and they omitted the rest of it because it would negate their point where he said that he's interested in looking forward, right? The same thing Obama said when he came into office, by the way, and his administration did it, we're not gonna prosecute the Bush war criminals. We wanna look forward instead of backwards. And Donald Trump said something similar when Weer asked him if he was serious about prosecuting President Biden. So in response to that very short clip that they played, again, cutting off the end of it, because he negates himself, Sage Steele said this, she said it was a, or the host, uh, anchor Dana Perino said it was a great line and showed great pen principle. And Sage Steele says, it is, I think for all of us to remember, maybe make myself remember that, of the entire interview with Kristen Wilker that I, I stopped at that moment.

That was my favorite line. You know what? It doesn't surprise me that you stopped at that moment because again, he went on to later on say that if I find something on Biden, I'll prosecute him. So if you stopped at that very moment, then yeah, you didn't get the full quote. But anyway, she continues. And to me it is almost like a softer, gentler, kinder Donald Trump who has softened through this whole process. I think it's fascinating. I think it's the right thing, and that is why people elected him, is because they knew even people who were anti-Trump for all these years, right? They knew all the other side stuff. It doesn't matter. He has proven through his track record that he is the best person to do this job, to fix us, to make us better. And Dana Perino said that Trump doesn't have the time to go backwards and steal added. I'm almost proud of him though for it. You know, of course, exclaimed pato, that's progress for him, concluded Steel. Now, as I mentioned, if they'd have played the whole clip, they would've

Heard Wilker kind of press him again. And he said, if I find something on Biden, I would prosecute him. But then he said, it's not up to him. He said, that's Pam Bondi at the DOJ, that's Kosh Patel at the FBI. They're the ones who are gonna make those decisions. So he did not say he was not going to prosecute President Biden. In fact, he suggested he would prosecute President Biden. And he strongly implied that there will actually be an investigation. So these two morons on Fox nudes, uh, uh, Sage Steele and Dana Perino are praising him for something that didn't actually happen because by Sage Steele's own admission, she didn't keep watching. So, get ready. This is the next four years.
