America can always count on Rand Paul to come up with some of the dumbest ideas imaginable. This week, after he successfully got Republicans to back off a bipartisan spending deal, Paul suggested that Elon Musk has now proven that he knows how to get things done and therefore should be elected House Speaker in the next Congress. The rules technically would allow this, but America would suffer tremendously, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

After Elon Musk successfully killed the continuing resolution to keep the government funded for the next month and a half Republican Senator Rand Paul saw this muscle flex from Elon Musk and decided, you know what, this guy, this freaking clown, obviously should be the next speaker of the house. Not doing your job right, not taking care of the American public. It's all about trolling and watching people lose their fricking minds, right? Oh boy, that's what we're electing these people to do, to make us irate, to make us angry because they're making silly decisions for the sake of making silly decisions just to us off.

That's, that's where we are. That is where we are at in American politics today. Rand Paul just admitted it. I don't, I don't think he knows, he admitted it. He doesn't seem like an intelligent person, but this is what he's like, man, watch. I'm losing their minds with Elon Musk. Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet also happens to be, in my opinion, the most immature person on the planet. We have seen his immaturity through the businesses that he has purchased. Um, obviously he's not the engineer guy. He's not making the electric cars or designing them. He may have designed a cyber truck, given how hideous it is. Um, he's not building the Rockets himself. He's not designing them. He's a person who had a lot of money and he bought these companies. And then of course they got big except with Twitter. He bought it and everything went to crap.

But either way, he's not a savvy businessman. I mean, Tesla and SpaceX, a lot of that is being propped up by government subsidies and government contracts. So what qualifications does he have to be speaker of the house other than Haha, wouldn't it be funny because that's what Rand Paul's saying. The reason is like, ha ha, that would be funny. Now listen, under the current rules of the US Constitution, literally anybody can be the speaker of the house. You do not have to be a member of the body. Like they could elect me, speaker of the House, Democrats, come on now. I'm, I'm here. I'm available. I'll do it. Y'all wanna put somebody up there to troll the other side just to make their heads explode? I'll
