The US Attorney’s office in Washington, D.C., under the guidance of Donald Trump’s interim US Attorney Ed Martin, issued a warning that they will prosecute any government official that stands in the way of Elon Musk. This threat came as a result of USAID workers reportedly trying to prevent Musk and his team from entering secured facilities without the proper security clearances. Even though the workers were upholding the law, THEY could now be the ones facing legal consequences under this new threat. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening.

A man by the name of Ed Martin, who happens to currently be the acting US attorney for the District of Columbia, of course, put in power by Donald Trump. But Mr. Martin sent a letter to the Department of Government Efficiency run by Elon Musk. Of course, uh, this past weekend after it was reported that Musk and his goons attempted to access, you know, secure facilities within government agencies, that they did not have the security clearances to actually access. It was reported that employees tried to block them from getting in there, but eventually they got in there anyway. So in response to that, the acting US attorney for Washington DC sent a letter saying that, doge, if you ever encounter this again, you call me and I will prosecute those people. Here is what the letter said. I recognize that some of the staff at Doge has been targeted publicly at this time. I ask that you utilize me and myself, staff, uh, to assist in protecting the Doge work and the Doge workers. Any threats, confrontations, or other actions in any way that impact their work, may break numerous laws. Let me assure you of this. We will pursue any and all legal action against anyone who impedes your work or threatens your people.

Cool. Cool. What about the illegality of non-government employees accessing personal data of pretty much every American in the country? What about non-government employees who have not been approved by Congress that do not have security clearances accessing secret information? Right. We, we don't care about those laws though, right? Do we Mr. Martin? No. Screw those. But if anybody actually tries to do their job and uphold the law, I'll prosecute those people. Martin, continued. Please be very aware that there are those who are acting against our American people in every way. Refer to us. Any questionable conduct of details that you find or notice, again, kind of feels like Elon Musk's people are the ones breaking the law. And yet you are telling them that if you encounter anybody trying to stop you from breaking the law, I will prosecute the people trying to stop you. This is our government. This is our law enforcement bodies. I mean, that's what a US attorney is. You're a prosecutor. You send people to jail, and he is now threatening to send the actual law abiding people from the government to jail to allow the rule breakers and lawlessness of Doge to run rampant.

And then has the audacity to say that the people trying to uphold the law are the ones acting against America's interest. I am. I don't even know what to say. I, I, I genuinely am at a complete loss for words. 'cause the words I wanna say are real, real bad right now. Probably things nobody wants to hear come out of my mouth, A stream of profanities, the likes of which you have never heard in your life, trust me. But we're losing this country. We are losing it. And Donald J. Trump did this. He's the one that put the richest man on the planet in charge. And then that man, of course, took that power and ran with it. In a government agency that according to a lawsuit from citizens for responsibility and ethics in Washington, legally can't even exist because they're already, their existence itself is breaking the law. So everything about Doge, according to the experts, is illegal. And yet they're in the system. They have the OMB, the Office of Management and Budget, uh, uh, uh, the, the personnel office, usaid, the treasury folks. They're everywhere. Elon Musk and his little gaggle of 25 and 19 year olds kids.
