5:09Now PlayingFox News host Maria Bartiromo was live on the air awaiting the June jobs report, which she said was estimated to show the addition of more than 90,000 jobs for the month. Moments later, she was completely humiliated by the report when it showed that the economy had LOST over 30,000 jobs for the month. This is reminiscent of Trump’s first term when the economy was hemorrhaging jobs, and it looks like all the growth of the Biden years will be wiped out in Trump’s first year back. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

On Wednesday, the United States got some pretty horrific economic news. The news we got was that the federal government, in fact, the country lost jobs for the month of June. In the preliminary report, rather than adding the hundred thousand jobs that had been predicted, we ended up losing 33,000 jobs. Now, this is not funny. This is obviously an indication that the US economy is going south. We got further bad news when it was revealed that the US dollar has sunk to its lowest value since 1973. And for anybody that was alive in the seventies, I unfortunately was not. But I do know my history, um, taking the economy back to the 1970s is definitely not something we want to do in the United States, but that is clearly where we are headed. But as I said, this isn't funny, but one thing about it that's actually pretty funny is what happened on Fox News. Fox business host Maria Bart Romo was live on the air, you know, talking about how, oh boy, we're about to get the jobs numbers. They're gonna show 95,000 new US jobs. Oh boy, Trump's economy is humming along. Things are great. And then she got the news live on the air and take a look at what happened.
And, and of course, president Trump is talking about this bill leading to growth in the economy. We are waiting any moment now to get the jobs numbers for the month of May. Uh, the expectations call for the a DP numbers to be up 95,000 for the month of June, rather it's the June, uh, jobs data. And we'll, of course, uh, right now seeing, seeing the number actually, uh, show a decline in jobs, uh, down 33,000 on, on a DP, uh, the bill includes $25 billion for the Golden Dome, the missile Defense System. Mm-hmm. Senator, you introduced a bill supporting the construction of that system. I wanna get your take on, on defense and whether or not that's an area mm-hmm. You see continuing to grow because everyone's trying to figure out where the economic growth comes from on a day that we see the June a DP numbers down, 33,000 jobs in the month of June versus an estimate of up 95,000 Senator.
So again, there's nothing funny about the economy going into the toilet that affects each and every one of us, regardless of your income level, social status, gender, religion, sexuality. We're all impacted to some degree by these horrible economic numbers. But watching Maria Barta Romo die a little bit inside live on the air, that's fun. I enjoyed that. I, I would like to see that happen more often, to be totally honest with you. Because here's the thing, the fact that she was so shocked by these economic numbers, especially we're about to pass the one big beautiful bill that's gonna further destroy the economy, but she doesn't know that. The thing is, everybody could have seen this coming. Everybody should have seen this coming. I mean, what do you think's gonna happen to the overall job market when you have a president of the United States who has an on again, off again, tariff policy that is absolutely wrecking the ability of corporations and small businesses to plan for the future.
