as posted by the channelReceipts are coming out now about the DOGE savings and surprise surprise it turns out they're nowhere, even in the same atmosphere as what they claimed. We're talking about a roughly $54 billion overstatement. DOGE has been lying their faces off since day one, absolutely fabricating savings. One, they don't understand how government works, meaning they think they can cut things that they legally cannot. And two, they can't get basic addition and subtraction correct.

Receipts are coming out now about the DOGE savings and surprise surprise it turns out they're nowhere, even in the same atmosphere as what they claimed according to the Politico article. $52 billion is what they claimed. Politico can validate $1.4 billion and even that is somewhat dubious.
Right. So we're talking about a roughly $54 billion overstatement, which of course, what did they originally say, $2 trillion they were gonna save the government? So, we're a little below $2 trillion. But the reason for this is because, to put it simply, DOGE has been lying their faces off since day one, absolutely fabricating savings that in many instances, as Politico points out, they legally can't even cut these things that they claim they are cutting. These are congressionally appropriated funds. Congress says this money has to be used for this. If you are going to cut it, remove it, or stop it or alter it, we have to be the ones to do that. So a lot of what, and again, Politico points this out, a lot of what DOGE said we've saved, no, you haven't saved it. You've just stopped the payment from going. The money is still technically in the eyes of the government already spent.
Well, I think we've probably normalized DOGE too much by saying it like it's normal. But let's be clear, a president created a super auditor that's funded by political hacks and 20 something year olds, one of which goes by the name Big Balls that rove around the government deciding what doesn't appeal to them specifically and stopping payments. These people have created billions of dollars in costs in chaos and lost funds because this isn't our checkbook that you're trying to balance. This has a trickle down effect, both in these local economies and these people are seeing it. Certainly we're seeing a retraction because the president doesn't even understand tariffs much less budget savings.
Yeah. And look, these kids that are running DOGE essentially, now that Elon Musk is out of there, some of them are literal teenagers. They do not understand how the government works. They haven't taken civics classes. They don't even have college degrees yet. And we are supposed to believe blindly whatever comes out of them, whatever they post on their wall of receipts and a lot of this stuff is just them not even knowing how to do math. Right. They don't understand how government works, meaning they think they can cut things that they legally cannot. And two, they can't get basic addition and subtraction correct. We're not dealing with super geniuses. We're not even dealing with tech geniuses. We're dealing with Elon Musk's little lackeys who, I don't even know, do they even have high school diplomas at this point? Based on their skills I've seen, I would highly doubt it. Maybe they do, but I don't know. It doesn't look like they're able to pass any tests if you ask me.
And can you imagine the uproar from MAGA if Joe Biden had invented a thing in the government, a group of 20 people to rove around super infusing cash or cutting Republican PET projects? They would burn the Capitol building or they'd start another insurrection. And it is disappointing to see the Democratic leadership not holding this to account and allowing this to continue. The fact we're still saying the word DOGE annoys me personally. So, these meme lords that they call themselves, it's extreme. It's disgusting is what it is that Congress, dysfunctional as it is, approved funds. That should have been the end of it. People's lives, research dollars, all this stuff is dependent on that money that you're just saying, well, you don't have to pay it anymore and then we're gonna throw it up on this wall and look how much more efficient the government's running.
