10:26Now PlayingEach year NBA AllStar Weekend serves as one of the most anticipated events in sports. This year's event, being held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, is expected to look fairly different, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. For the first time in its history, it will take place for one night only. As part of the events, the National Basketball Association and the National Basketball Players Association announced that they will commit more than $2.5 Million to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The league will also be helping to provide support and awareness around access to COVID19 care and vaccines. ESPN's Senior NBA Writer Marc Spears joins BNC's Start Your Day with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to talk about the COVID19 restrictions put in place by the league to protect players and guests.
