CK Hoffler, President of the National Bar Association and CEO of the CK Hoffler Firm in Atlanta, joined "Start Your Day" with Sharon Reed and Mike Hill to discuss how long jurors could deliberate.
She said waiting for the jury is one of the hardest parts of the trial for lawyers and a painful part for the families of George Floyd and Derek Chauvin. Citing the success of the prosecution's testimony from eyewitnesses, law enforcement leaders, and medical experts, she said the state made a strong case.
Hoffler also said she wanted to hear more about the connection between Floyd and Chauvin, who reportedly knew each other before the incident.
