"Corporate America has historically failed Black America," Walker says. "We have not seen, in corporate America, a representation of the talent and potential leadership of this country."
Walker says that Black people not having those leadership positions, particularly in the boardroom, won't lead to changes in the front-facing part of the company.
He adds that some corporations past comments on race since the racial reckoning has been performative.
