YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe threat on critical race theory in education continues to grow as Tennessee becomes the fourth state in the nation to ban teaching it in schools.
Jonathan Chism, co-editor of critical race theory across multiple disciplines and Assistant professor of History at the University of Houston, joined Charles Blow on BNC Prime to discuss the impact of new legislative measures that would erase the truths of racism throughout the nation’s history.
Several states either have bills moving forward or comparable measures already in place, including Oklahoma, where Governor Kevin Stitt signed a bill banning schools from teaching about the Tulsa Massacre the same month as its 100th anniversary.
