6:35Now PlayingHosts Mike Hill and Sharon Reed talk about the new law in Norway that bans Instagram influencers from retouching their ads.
Hill thinks this new law is a little extreme. At the same time, he agrees, and feels like it is a good idea because allowing influencers to create false beauty standards makes it impossible for the average human to achieve them.
Reed responds back to Hill’s question about her involvement in retouching social media posts, and she says that she doesn’t have time between motherhood and her career. However, Reed does think banning these false beauty stands is valid, but she doesn’t think jail time is sufficient for altering photos on Instagram.
