3:56Now PlayingSome uplifting news for Haiti: the Caribbean country is sending two swimmers to compete in the Tokyo Olympics.
Emilie Grand Pierre and Davidson Vincent will represent Team Haiti. BNC Correspondent Aiyana Cristal joins "BNC Live" with Laverne McGee to discuss the swimmers as they head to Tokyo. Pierre is excited to be the only woman swimmer representing Haiti for the Olympic Games. She left Atlanta Monday morning to head to Tokyo to start the journey. "I'm really excited to see where all my hard work pays off," she said. "It's an honor to be able to represent Haiti, and to do it at such a large stage of the Olympics is a blessing. It couldn't have come at a better time in my life. I'm really excited."
