It was originally supposed to be at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, but the MLB pulled out of it because of Georgia’s law that most people have portrayed as voter suppression. Today, they announced that they’re donating up to $150 million to the Players Alliance, which is a non-profit formed last summer by over 100 current and former Black players. The money will be donated to Black youth in pursuit of their dreams.
