15:12Now PlayingYutico Bailey was sentenced to 60 years in prison for an armed robbery charge he didn’t commit when he was 19 years old.
After spending eight years behind bars, Bailey was freed four months ago from the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. It was thanks to a newly elected District Attorney Jason Williams, who believed he was innocent from the beginning. He was also helped by his attorney Lara Bazelon.
Bailey and Bazelon joined Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss his case and the criminal justice system.
