They raised money to send dozens of children to summer camp this year. BNC Correspondent Aiyana Cristal joins "Start Your Day" with Sharon Reed and Shannon LaNier to discuss this story. At the Salvation Army's Kroc Camp in Atlanta, children are given an opportunity to flourish. With many parents unable to afford to send their children to summer camp this year, Atlanta police sergeant Shedarren Fanning wanted to help. He raised more than $4,000 to provide scholarships for at-risk youth, sending more than 50 children to the camp.
