“We don’t think this is something that has been seen like this in at least 30 years in terms of the weather pattern that’s set up,” Accuweather’s Jonathan Porter says. “The issue with that type of air pollution [is that] those tiny particles, you can breathe them in and they get into your lungs and can also start causing problems for your respiratory system and also other organs.”
