Last week, the CDC published data on the coronavirus outbreak in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, as there were 346 confirmed cases among those who are fully vaccinated. The data produced gave the CDC reason to update the guidance for those fully vaccinated.
Due to the Delta variant and infections among the vaccinated, the CDC recommends masks in public indoor settings in areas with substantial and high transmission. It also recommends indoor masking in K-12 schools all over the country.
