The fight to protect voters from new restrictive rules pushed by state Republicans has once again been blocked, as there are no longer enough members present to make quorum and hold a special session.
State Representative Ron Reynolds joins BNC Live with Laverne McGee, and vows to do whatever it takes to block the vote and pressure Congress into passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act as soon as possible. Even with the threat of Governor Greg Abbot, Reynolds is assured that the law will be on the right side of justice as the 52 Democrats have filed with the state’s supreme court to block action on the arrest warrants issued.
